Building Connection with Teenagers – Attachment Matters

September 25, 2024, 6:30 pm

This training was developed for parents and carers who want to explore positive ways to connect with young people aged 10-25. Participants are invited to think about:

  • Why attachment relationships matter at this developmental stage.
  • Think about the impact of early experiences and relationships on the teenage brain.
  • Explore practical communication ideas that can enhance connection and support young people’s wellbeing and emotional development.

The course materials demonstrate that by developing our understanding of attachment and early experience, we can create positive connection opportunities to enhance relationships and support young people’s emotional development.

The cost for this session is £12 per individual/each family group.

If cost is a barrier, then please contact us directly so we can arrange a place.

For further information on the above or how Scottish Attachment in Action can support with training opportunities please get in touch with Laura at Lauraross@scottishattachmentinaction.org.
