As part of our Adoption Allies service, Scottish Attachment in Action are offering training to education staff. This training is aimed at staff working within the secondary education sector and will help staff reflect upon and respond to the needs of children and young people who have experienced attachment disruption and developmental trauma. By promoting relational practice, this learning can benefit the wellbeing of every child and young person.
During the session participants will discover how our bodily responses to safety and danger shape our connections with others and influence our emotional well-being. We will also offer advice and guidance on effective strategies to support connection and learning.
