Building Connection Through Play: Attachment Matters

November 27, 2024, 1:00 pm

This training was developed for parents and carers who want to explore positive ways to connect with children through the ‘power of play’. Participants are invited to think about:

  • Why attachment relationships matter in play.
  • Think about the impact of early experience on relationships and play.
  • Explore practical play ideas that can enhance connection and support children’s wellbeing and emotional development.

Play can provide children and adults with wonderful opportunity for connection. The course materials explore how by developing our understanding of attachment and early experience we can create play opportunities that can enhance our relationships and support emotional development.
