Every child has the right to an education.

SAIA has been talking to adopters and want to understand more about the experience of adoptive families within education.

SAIA aims to contribute to a change in the post-adoption support experience within education in Scotland. We are working with education partners to improve the information and support available to adoptive families.

This needs to be driven by the input from families and we have created a short survey to help us plan our approach to post-adoption support. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/MBYNNNB

The information provided in this survey will give us a deeper understanding of the needs of adoptive families, and highlight any issues faced in supporting your child’s education.

If you have adopted more than one child and your experience of education with them is very different, please complete the survey for each child.
